Flag football, Summerfest 1-K, adult VB, U6 soccer!
Flag football, U6 soccer, Summerfest 1-K and adult coed volleyball are all coming soon to Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Daniel Tinch, BFR director. Here’s what you need to know:
Summerfest 1-K
Can you believe at 1-K? It’s at noon, Saturday, July 21, and the route is a beeline from Parkview on South Main Street all the way out to Southgate Lanes bowling alley. There’s a $20 registration fee and all proceeds go to BFR. A registration form is attached at the bottom of this story. Watch the Icon for more details.
NFL Flag Football
For youth ages 5 to 7. There’s one practice each week plus one game on Saturdays. Players received reversible NFL flag jerseys. Deadline to register is Aug. 26. Cost is $35 for members and $70 for others.
Adult coed volleyball
Games are set for Thursdays from Sept. 6 to Oct. 18. Team fee is $150 with a minimum deposit of $50 due by Aug. 26.
U6 soccer
Play is from Aug. 28 through Oct. 4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7 p.m. The games are for youth ages 4, 5 and 6. Cost is $30 for members and $65 for others.
