Here's another ODOT road repair update affecting Bluffton-Beaverdam
ODOT reports on four projects that affect traffic on Interstate 75 and two that affect U.S. 30 this week. Those follow:
• Interstate 75 over Little Riley Creek, just north of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project. Shoulder restrictions are also possible during the project. A maximum width restriction of 12 feet is in place during the lane restrictions. Work will last through mid-August. Work is being performed by Complete General Construction, Columbus.
• Interstate 75 under Swaney Road, just north of Beaverdam, will be restricted to one lane at times for a bridge repair project that will begin Aug. 6. Shoulder restrictions are also possible during the project. Swaney Road over Interstate 75 will close Aug. 6 for approximately three weeks during the project. Work is being performed by Complete General Construction, Columbus.
• Interstate 75 northbound exit ramp to Bentley Road, Bluffton, is now open following a pavement repair project.
• Interstate 75 shoulders near the U.S. 30 overpass, just south of Beaverdam, are closed in both directions during a culvert replacement project beneath the interstate. Little impact to traffic is expected. Work is expected to continue through August. Work is being performed by Beaverdam Contracting, Bluffton.
The following U.S. 30 ramps in Allen County will be affected by a concrete pavement and ramp repair project. Work is being performed by Shelly and Sands, Zanesville.
• U.S. 30 eastbound entrance ramp from state Route 696, Beaverdam, will close at 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, until noon on Saturday, Aug. 4. Traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 30 westbound and state Route 65 back to U.S. 30 eastbound. (see map)
• U.S. 30 westbound exit ramp to State Route 696, Beaverdam, will close 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5. During the closure, traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 30 westbound, state Route 65 and U.S. 30 eastbound back to state Route 696.
