Bicycle & Pedestrian Task Force walking audit workshop Wednesday
The Allen County Bicycle & Pedestrian Task Force is holding a Walking Audit Workshop at noon, Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the Lima Family YMCA, 345 S. Elizabeth St., Lima, according to Josh Unterbrink, co-director, Activate Allen County.
The purpose of the event is to help make Allen County a safer community for pedestrians and cyclists.
Residents, local leaders, transportation officials and others are coming together to survey and rate key streets/intersections, discuss findings and follow through to help people of all ages in Allen County get where they need and want to go. Individuals who are interested in volunteering to assist in the process are welcome to are encouraged to attend the workshop.
Registration is not required.
