MHCO Service Group seeking silent auction items
The Service Group of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) is seeking donations of items, services or “experiences,” for its Silent Auction during Fall Fest, Saturday, Sept. 22.
Funds raised through the auction support activities and improvement projects, benefitting more than 350 MHCO elders. All donations are tax deductible.
“This is a chance for local businesses, artists and other individuals to showcase their products, artwork or services,” said Jessica Strahm, MHCO volunteer coordinator. “We expect hundreds of visitors for Fall Fest and they will all have an opportunity to bid on items Sept 17 - 22.”
Suggested donations could be framed artwork, jewelry, certificates for a business service, or a weekend getaway. The auction will be publicized throughout northwest Ohio. To donate an item, contact Strahm at [email protected] or 419-358-1015, ext. 248.
The MHCO Service Group has provided volunteers and support for Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio for more than 60 years. They will host a bake sale Sept 21-22 and also staff the food tent at Mennonite Memorial Home during Fall Fest.
Visit https://www.facebook.com/MHCOhio/ through Sept. 22 for featured auction donations and updates on Fall Fest.
