The following Bluffton council committee meetings were announced at Monday's council meeting.

Sept. 11 - Tree commission, 7 p.m.
Sept. 17 - Utilities committee, 1 p.m.
Sept. 24 - Utilities committee, 6:30 p.m.

Three additional dates were announced at the meeting:
Friday, Sept. 28 - Main Street closed in late afternoon for Bluffton HS homecoming parade
Week of Oct. 8 - waterlline work will begin on the West Elm Street project
Week of Oct. 8 - hydrant flushing will begin - last approximately two weeks. 288 hydrants are involved.
