Katie Prater is the September Bluffton High School student of the month.

Katie is a senior this year and has a 4.000 GPA. She is president of the Student Senate, is the Class of 2019 vice president, is a member of the National Honor Society, Renaissance and Latin Club. 

She has been on the all A honor roll throughout high school.  She received Student of the year in Advanced Math, Chemistry, Algebra and Geometry. Katie was also one of the senior homecoming attendants this year.

Katie is on the volleyball, basketball and softball teams and in the summer plays on a summer travel softball team. She was named to the NWC 2nd team in volleyball and received  NWC All conference honorable mention for basketball. In softball she was named to the NWC All conference 2nd team and the NW District Softball Association All District first team. She is also an Academic Letterman.

She is currently taking Psychology and Personal and Community Health at Bluffton University. She plans to study Pharmacy after graduation at either Findlay University or ONU.
