Invasion of the candy snatchers Thursday

Bluffton’s trick-or-treat night is Thursday, Oct. 25. Here’s a list of times and special places to consider visiting:
Bluffton village – trick-or-treat hours 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Mennonite Memorial Home, lobby, 410 W. Elm St., 6 to 7 p.m.
Maple Crest, Augsburger Road, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Bluffton University, Mosiman Hall on West College Avenue, just past Snyder Circle – Students in Ohio Collegiate Music Education Association invite trick-or-treaters to Mosiman Hall from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Classrooms will be decorated for the Halloween holiday and treats will be handed out. OCMEA members will also provide fun lessons about the use of instruments to create spooky sounds and chilling music scores along the way.
Bluffton Public Library, 145 S. Main St. - Spooky Crafts Day takes place all day from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The library staff invites families to get crafty together and make the library a stop on your trick or treating route.
Bluffton Fire Department – Watch for a fire truck on Main Street. Members of the department will have candy.
Bluffton Police Department – Watch for police cruisers roaming town. Police officers will have candy.
Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Road, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Southgate Lanes, 9700 N. Dixie Highway – will hand out candy and free games of bowling, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Bluffton Icon will photograph Halloweeners from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Bluffton Public Library.
