Ann Badertscher was a Bluffton HS graduate
Ann E. Badertscher, 77, died Oct. 31, 2018, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Ann was born Jan. 26, 1941 in Bluffton to the late Denver and Olive (Schumacher) Zimmerly. On April 8, 1961, she married Robert Badertscher who survives.
Ann had previously worked for Marathon Oil Company in Findlay, Bluffton College and the Comfort Inn in Bluffton. She was a member of the St John's United Church of Christ, Bluffton. Ann enjoyed crocheting and was a Bluffton High School graduate.
Survivors also include two sons, David Badertscher of Bluffton, Michael (Jeanne) Badertscher of Findlay; a granddaughter, Taylor (Mike) Gibson of Sacramento, California; a brother, Denver (Barb) Zimmerly, Jr. of Findlay and a sister, Kay (Owen) Ziessler of Bluffton.
Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Zimmerly and Lynn Zimmerly.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton. Pastor Carol Clements officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Parkinson's Foundation.
