Final haircut on Saturday for Bluffton Barbers
Karen Fredritz's last Bluffton haircut will be on Saturday with the closing of her shop, Bluffton Barbers.
She and her husband, Dan, are moving to Columbus to be closer to their family.
Karen opened Bluffton Barbers in the winter of 2016 in the former Bluffton News office. She’s cut hair since 1978, starting with Don Schneck in Pandora, and after a couple trips around the world she opened her shop, Bluffton Barbers, at 103 N. Main St.
Karen and her husband, Dan, formed United Pioneers, LLC, and in 2015 purchased the 103 N. Main St., building. They renovated the second floor into two apartments. The Main floor has space for a possible three businesses.
The couple recently sold the building and an announcement will be made soon on the new owner and that person's plans for the building.
Bluffton continues to have a barber. Craig Stone operates Stoney's Barbershop in the lower level of 125 N. Main St.
