Northwest Ohio Obstetrics and Gynecology now offers two aesthetic procedures not previously available in Bluffton, according to Dr. Desrene K.Brown, M.D.
NW OH OBGYN now offers:
• truSculpt 3D, a body sculpting procedure, and
• Juliet, a laser treatment to combat vaginal issues
“We are very excited to offer these two new features to our clinic,” said Dr. Brown. “ Our patients have expressed appreciation about them.”
She describes the procedures this way:
truSculpt 3D
The truSculpt 3D is an aesthetic, body sculpting procedure for eliminating fat cells from problem areas, such as the abdomen.
The truSculpt 3D uses radio frequency waves to heat subcutaneous fat cells (adipose tissues), causing them to start to break down.
The new radio frequency technology maintains the correct temperature to encourage the breakdown of these fat cells, with minimal heat or discomfort on the surface of the patient’s skin.
Because is uses radio frequency waves, it is a non-invasive treatment. Patients may choose to target small or large areas.
According to clinical trails, one 60 minute treatment of truSculpt 3D visibly reduces the circumference of the treated area.
The truSculpt 3D is FDA approved.
Juliet
Juliet laser treatment is the latest technology to combat vaginal issues.
Childbirth and menopause can cause feminine changes, which lead to various disorders.
Some of the symptoms are itching, incontinence, or dyspareunia (pain during intercourse). Many of these disorders worsen over time.
Many feminine intimacy issues, such as dryness, decreased libido, increased thickness or loss of tone or elasticity, were thought to just be consequences of aging.
Juliet laser treatment is the latest non-invasive technology to combat these issues.
The treatment works by using laser energy to deliver energy to vaginal tissue and stimulate production of new collagen.
The procedure takes 20 minutes. Studies have shown symptoms to be immediately reduced and gradually disappear over time.
