Charles Vogel was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church
Charles H. Vogel, 55, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at the Meadows of Delphos in Delphos.
Born Dec. 31, 1962, in Upper Sandusky, he was the son of Charles H. and Joyce Ann (Karcher) Vogel, Sr. His mother survives in Upper Sandusky. His father preceded him in death.
Surviving are his four children: Samantha Vogel of Bluffton, Jeff Vogel of Rockport, Jason Vogel of Bluffton, and Sarah (Cody) Schnipke of Bluffton, five grandchildren: Keanna, Charles, Jayden, Ethan, and Alanna, and three brothers: Danny Scott Vogel of Upper Sandusky, Ronald Eugene Vogel of Forest and Steven Alan (Michelle) Vogel of McCuthenville.
Charles graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1981 and was an U.S. Army veteran. He worked at Metokote in Lima and Terra in Pandora before being stricken with Multiple Sclerosis in 1995.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bluffton.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home in Carey, with Sister Carol Inkott officiating.
Interment will follow in the Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses and sent to Stombaugh-Batton Funeral Home, 225 W. Findlay St. Carey, OH. 43316.
