Here are December arts and events at Bluffton University. Events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.
Dec. 2 Concert: Holiday Collage Concert, 2:30 p.m., Yoder Recital Hall. A tree-lighting ceremony at the Houshower House will directly follow the concert.
Dec. 4 Forum: “Christmas Festival,” Forum by Bluffton University music department, 11 a.m. Yoder Recital Hall.
Dec. 5 Presentation: “Reaching Out: A Young Man’s Story of Faith, Courage and Commitment,” Yoder Recital Hall. The faith-story of former Bluffton football player Alex McClelland, who passed away from cancer, will be presented by his family twice, from 4-5:30 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.
Dec. 9 Concert: “Messiah,” 4 p.m., Yoder Recital Hall.
