CEU presentation on Parkinson’s Disease Jan. 31
Mennonite Memorial Home will host a free, one-hour presentation on Parkinson’s Disease on Thursday, Jan, 31. from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The presentation provides CEUs for social workers and nurses. The public is also welcome to attend.
According to presenter Jenna Cotterman, MOT/OTR/L, she will describe basic brain functions, etiology and disease processes of Parkinson’s Disease and other types of dementia. She will discuss lifestyle practices for optimizing physical, emotional and cognitive functioning, symptom management and interventions for individuals with these diseases.
Social work CEUs are provided by the University of Findlay and nursing units are offered through Blanchard Valley Health System. To register, call Betsi Werling at 419-358-1015, ext. 211 or email [email protected]
