Valarie Campbell was a Bluffton High School graduate
Valarie Jane Campbell, 62, died Jan. 10, 2019, at her residence. Valarie was born July 2, 1956, in Bluffton to the late Raymond and Marcene (Ransbottom) Spangler. On Sept. 19, 1987, she married David Campbell who survives.
Valarie graduated from Bluffton High School and Bowling Green State University. She had also received her massage license. Valarie had worked at Philips Corporation in Ottawa and Matrix Essentials in Solon, Ohio.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bluffton and had attended Hilltop Christian Church of Mantua, Ohio. Valarie was involved with Toast Masters in Kent, Ohio, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society - WALKS and its support groups. She always dealt with her multiple sclerosis battle of 30 years with courage and a positive outlook.
Survivors also include a brother, Glen (Myra) Spangler of Hamler, Ohio; a sister, Marcia Spallinger of Findlay; two step daughters, Amy (Rod) Denison of West Chester, Ohio, Raina (Lee) Henderson of Seattle, Washington; and nieces and nephews, Darrel, Michael, Kristina, Angie and Amy.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Tim Wilmetti officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Bluffton. Visitation will be Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton EMS.
