Doug Adams in concert Thursday at town hall
Doug Adams, folk singer, will perform on the Bluffton town hall concert series, 154 N. Main St., Bluffton, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, according to Jeff Yoder.
A native of Cincinnati, Adams has lived in northwest Ohio for the past 27 years. He started his folk singing career back in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
He was been greatly influenced by Woody Guthrie, Tom Paxton, Pete Seeger, Peter, Paul, and Mary and Bob Dylan.
He performs the old ballads and simple songs that tell the stories of the great folk era of the '60s and '70s. The concert is open to the public with no admission charge.
