Internal medicine residency program
Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center has received initial accreditation for the newly developed Internal Medicine Residency Program.
The program is a three-year program and is approved for a total of 36 accredited resident positions. Medical student candidates will be able to apply in the fall 2019 via ERAS (interview process) and we will participate in the 2020 NRMP (match). The first class of 12 Internal Medicine residents will start on July 1, 2020.
The program is led by Eric Kirschner, M.D., Program Director; Brian Taylor, D.O., Associate Program Director; Debra Miller, Academic Program Coordinator along with Subspecialty Education Coordinators, core faculty and rotational faculty whom will contribute substantially to the teaching, mentoring, research, service, and education for this program.
