Elementary grade cards go home on Friday, March 29.
That’s just a fraction of the news this month at Bluffton elementary. Here is an update of several addition spring elementary events from the school website.
A dental clinic is scheduled on Monday, April 1. This in-school dentist event provides dental care, which includes an exam, X-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when needed. Restorative care, such as fillings, may also be provided. Permission forms were already sent home with students.
April is testing month.
• Grades three to fifth take Ohio State English Language Arts tests April 3 and 4 and Ohio State Math tests on April 10 and 11.
• Fifth graders take Ohio State Science tests on April 24 and 25.
• Second graders take Iowa achievement tests March 25-April 2.
March is Youth Art Month at the Bluffton Public Library. Fifteen works of art from the elementary are on display. Artists include:
• 1st grade: Juliana Carnauba, Benji Siferd, Easton Dunifon.
• 2nd grade: Georgia Hagen, Samantha Ruller.
• 3rd grade: Izzy Recker, Micah Lemley, Ethan Smith, Camryn Fruchey, Willow Derstine.
• 4th grade: Isaiah Clinger, Nora Matthews, Wilson Steiner, Greta Myers.
• 5th grade: Elizabeth Suter.
