Jean Ann Stratton 1936 - 2019
Jean Ann Stratton 82, died on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at 1:20 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on June 20, 1936, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Oliver and Clara (Wilson) Amstutz. On May 22, 1954, Jean married Rolla M. Stratton Sr. and he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2015.
Jean was a homemaker.
She is survived by her two sons: Rolla (Kathy E.) Stratton Jr. of LaFayette and Ricky (Mona) Stratton of Mt. Cory; three daughters: Lillie (Daniel) Brewer of Louisville, Ky., Kathy L. Stratton of Ada and Sharon Colburn of Findlay; 11 grandchildren,22 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; two brothers: John (Edna) Amstutz of Michigan and Jack Amstutz of Kentucky; and a sister, Dolly (Ronald) Beach of Beaverdam.
Jean was preceded in death by a son, Robert Stratton a great grandson, Logan; two brothers, James and Jerry Amstutz; and two sisters, JoAnn Shanks and Beverly Porter.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Mark Fuerstenau officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
