Public information meetings set to discuss school levy renewals
The Committee for Better Schools announces two community levy informational meetings for the two renewal levies on the Bluffton Tuesday, May 7 ballot.
Meetings are:
• Monday, April 29
• Thursday, May 2
• both meetings starting at 7 p.m. in the Elementary Library.
These meetings concern the renewal of a ½ (0.5%) percent income tax for permanent improvements for three-years and the renewal of an emergency levy of 4.244 mills for five years.
The renewal committee consists of: Mitch Kingsley-treasurer, Alice Basinger, Tyler Bricker, Tim Closson, Bill Croft, Greg Denecker, Mike Edmiston, Roger Edwards, Brian Goldsberry, Jason Granger, Wes Klinger, Brendon Matthews, Renee Smith, Amanda Stechschulte, Tammy Whitlow and Mike Wilson.
Residents of the district who have any questions may contact one of the committee members or call Greg Denecker in the superintendent’s office at 419-358-5901.
