4-H Beaverdam Bunch meets
The Beaverdam Bunch held a 4-H meeting this past Monday. Program booklets were handed out for the members.
A few demonstrations were given by our members. Brooke Camper explained to us about eating healthy and the good things it can do for you. Cierra Ackerman demonstrated how to take care of pests in a garden. Elizabeth Swisher talked about dehydration, it's symptoms and what you could do. Our next meeting will be in 4 weeks on May 20.
Quality assurance for anyone who is wanting to take livestock to the fair will need to attend Sunday, April 28, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the fair. Junior Fair entries start May 1 and end July 1.
Opportunities for community service are available this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Meet at the Twisted Whisk to pick up trash; please bring gloves.
