BVHS medical services rep
Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) has named Lisa Wetherill, medical staff services representative, the BVHS Associate of the Year and has nominated her for the Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award, presented by the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA).
Wetherill has been a BVHS associate for more than 20 years and was named June 2018 Associate of the Month. In her role, Wetherill assists with the onboarding of providers, including processing applications and contracts, organizing new provider orientation, tracking and monitoring licensures, identifying Drug Enforcement Administration (DEAs) registration numbers, privileges, and more for all medical staff members.
“It is such an honor to be recognized in this way,” Wetherill said. “I am grateful to have received this recognition and am very fortunate to work for an organization that does so many great things for the people we serve.”
Each year, the OHA names an employee of an Ohio hospital or health care system as the “Health Care Worker of the Year.” The award recognizes a hospital associate who demonstrates leadership, reflects the values and ideals of Ohio’s health care facilities, goes above and beyond the call of duty and gives back to the community.
The recipient for the OHA award will be announced at the annual OHA Recognition Dinner in Columbus on Tuesday, June 4.
