Police investigate armed robbery at Dari Freeze

At 9:06 p.m. Tuesday, two male suspects entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded money

An armed robbery at the Bluffton Dari Freeze, 595 S. Main St., is under investigation by Bluffton police, according to Ryan Burkholder, police chief.

The police issued the following statement on May 22:

On Tuesday, May 21, at approximately 9:06 p.m. Bluffton police officers responded to the Bluffton Dari Freeze for a reported armed robbery that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, officers learned that two male suspects had entered the business and brandished a firearm and demanded money.

Both suspects were described as wearing hoodies with the hoods covering their heads and faces.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, both suspects fled on foot.

A search of the area was conducted with the assistance of a K-9 unit from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, but the suspects could not be located.

The investigation remains open and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Bluffton police.
