Hanco EMS Chief Rob Martin receives 2019 CARES Award
Rob Martin, the chief and director of Hanco EMS, a division of Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS), is the recipient of the Ohio Association of Community Behavioral Health Authorities’ (OACBHA) 2019 CARES Award.
This award is given annually to first responders and frontline workers who go above and beyond in helping individuals, families and their communities deal with the adverse effects of Ohio’s opiate epidemic.
Rob was nominated and selected for this award by members of the Opioid and Addictions Task Force for his tireless efforts to proactively respond to our local opioid crisis.
“I am extremely humbled to be receiving this recognition,” said Rob. “I’m just one individual representing an extraordinary team of people who work to address this issue in our community. I’m proud of the work we do.”
This award will be presented to Rob during a luncheon at the 2019 Ohio Opiate and Other Drug Conference in Columbus, Ohio on Monday, June 10.
