University to host several volleyball summer camps
The Bluffton University volleyball team will host several skills camps this summer.
A kindergarten through fifth grade camp will be held from 10 a.m.–noon on Wednesday, June 26. This camp will introduce basic volleyball skills while incorporating fun volleyball activities. Registration is $25 per camper.
Two camps will be held for sixth through eighth grade students. From June 27-28, an overnight camp will focus on correct form and movement. Campers will also be engaged through leadership activities during breaks. Registration is $165 for two days of instruction, meals and overnight accommodations. Cost is $130 for students who plan to commute.
A day camp for sixth through eighth grade students will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Monday, July 29. Basic skills including passing, setting, attacking, defense and serving will be highlighted. Registration is $50 per camper.
An overnight camp for high school students will be held July 10-11. While focusing on the fundamentals, the camp will also include personalized instruction on improving hitting. Leadership activities will be featured during breaks. Registration is $165 for two days of instruction, meals and overnight accommodations. Cost is $130 for students who plan to commute.
