Seniors hear about technology in the police force July 8
Ryan Burkholder, Bluffton police chief, will discuss technology in the police force during the Monday, July 8, Bluffton Senior Citizens Association 6 p.m. dinner.
The dinner is $8 and reservation are due by Wednesday, July 3. Luke’s Bar and Grill will cater the dinner.
Several members celebrate their 90th birthday in July and they will received a life membership in the association at the meeting. Those persons are Coleen Hight, Ida Dunlap, Bernard Baumgartner, RosaLee Greenway and Martha Unruh.

• Wednesday, July 3, homemade ice cream party, 12:30 to 2 p.m., at the center. Roger and Jo Edwards will make the ice cream.
• No community meal Thursday, July 4. The center will be closed.
• Monday, July 8, history talk at Maple Crest by Hancock County Historical Society, 2 p.m. The subject is Findlay railroads.
•Tuesday, July 9, and each Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. through Aug. 1, classes on balance.
• Friday, July 19, the movie “Greenbook,” with free popcorn, at the center, 1 p.m.
