Join the Thursday evening Google listings session with the BCE
The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE) is holding a brown bag discussion on why and how to use Google listings for your business. The session will be from 7-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, on the third floor of Bluffton town hall, 154 N. Main St.
"How often do you hear someone say 'I'll Google it'? If your business doesn't show up in a Google search, you're not getting to first base with that viewer," remarks Paula Scott, BCE Executive Director.
"If there is already a Google listing for your business, have you claimed it? Do you update the hours to show if you'll be closed on a holiday? We'll cover the features that make this free service so valuable."
Scott and Nicole McConnahea will review what the viewer sees and what the business owner can access through the Google interface. Participants will learn how claiming and updating a listing benefits their business and get an introduction to how to use Google My Business features.
This free event is open to the public. Participants are asked to RSVP at [email protected] or (567) 525-6667.
The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (blufftonentrepreneurs.com) is a nonprofit business incubator that provides coaching, networking, and education. It is devoted to supporting startup and new businesses in Bluffton and the four surrounding counties.
