Next Transition Bluffton July 23 program
Transition Bluffton invites the community to the Buckeye park at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, for an evening of fun and discussion.
Bring any abundance of vegetables you would like to trade or share. Join in a discussion about Robin Kimmerer's Potawatomi ideal of Honorable Harvest set forth in her book, Braiding Sweetgrass. "Let's explore what following such an ideal would mean for you, your neighbors and the community at large,”said Peter Badertscher of Transition Bluffton.
Kimmerer is Professor of Environmental and Forest Biology at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
This presentation is one of several events hosted by Transition Bluffton over the past year. The organization’s mission is to bring people together to build resilience and sustainability in Bluffton and beyond. To learn more about future events, visit TransitionBluffton.org.
