Bluffton Clean Up group tackles the Riley on Wednesday
Bluffton Clean Up invites Icon viewers to the next “clean up” event.
According to Joy Stemen, it is at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 21.
“We plan to meet at the soccer fields in the back of the village park and work our way to the Sportsman’s Club at Buckeye Park. Depending on the water levels, we will be paddling, walking or wading. Likely all three,” she said.
“As always, we try to keep safety a priority, so dress accordingly and wear proper footwear. No bare feet,” she said.
A note to parents: youth are always welcome, but this clean up may not be suitable for some of the younger ones. Trash bags will be provided.
• Please bring a life jacket
• Bring your own gloves ( we will have some extra)
