Bluffton spikers whip Falcons

BLUFFTON - The Bluffton volleyball team swept visiting Riverdale in the season opener Monday night.
Homestanding Bluffton defeated the Falcons 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 to start out the 2019 campaign 1-0.
Libby Schaadt led the Lady Pirates with eight kills, followed by Kylie Stackhouse and Taylor Schwab with seven kills apiece.
Setter Skyler Scoles dished out 27 assists and came up with 15 digs. Taylor Schwab also contributed 15 digs.
Scoles and Kylie Monday each served up three aces. Stackhouse and Haelyn Bischoff were credited with three blocks apiece.
The Bluffton junior varsity also won, 2-1.
