Lady Pirate kickers blank Columbian

BLUFFTON - Host Bluffton shut out Tiffin Columbian 4-0 in a girls soccer match Tuesday evening.
The Lady Pirates improved to 7-3-1 overall with the victory.
Reagan Mittendorf started the scoring with a goal in the 20th minute as the Pirates took a 1-0 lead in halftime.
Becca Hoff made it 2-0 with a score in the 59th minute. Sophia Smucker extended the lead to 3-0 by hitting the back of the net in the 63rd minute. Lauren Rhodes provided the final margin of victory three minutes later with the fourth goal.
The active Bluffton offense fired a whopping 59 shots, 41 on goal. Tiffin Columbian got off just three shots, all on goal.
The TC keeper made 36 saves compared to three by the Pirate goalie.
Bluffton played at Bowling Green Wednesday, Sept. 25.
