Kalida nips BHS; Pirates face Hornets on Thursday
Kalida girls nip Bluffton

BLUFFTON - The visiting Kalida girls soccer team edged Bluffton 2-1 Saturday afternoon in a non-league match.
The defeat dropped the Lady Pirate record to 7-4-1.
After a scoreless first half, Kalida tallied in the 52nd and 59th minutes to build a 2-0 lead.
Bluffton's Kayla White found the back of the net in the 73rd minute to halve the deficit.
Kalida put four of its six shots on goal. Bluffton got off 18 shots, 11 of which were on goal.
Kalida made nine saves compared to two by Bluffton.
The Lady Pirates visit Cory-Rawson Thursday, October 3.
