Lady Pirate spikers fall to LCC

Visiting Lima Central Catholic swept Bluffton in a non-conference volleyball match Tuesday night.
Bluffton fell to 11-10 with the 25-7, 25-18, 25-23 defeat, their fourth loss in a row.
Sophomore Kylie Stackhouse led the Lady Pirate offense with 11 kills and two blocks. Versatile junior Taylor Schwab amassed nine kills and nine digs.
Sophomore setter Skyler Scoles passed out 23 assists. Senior Joscelin Reineke and sophomore Kylie Monday each came up with 10 digs.
Haelynn Bischoff contributed two blocks.
Bluffton also lost the JV match, 2-1.
The Pirates visit Van Buren Wednesday, Oct. 9 to end the regular season.
Bluffton then hosts Pandora-Gilboa in first round Div. IV sectional action Tuesday, Oct. 15.
