Ohio Auditor Keith Faber speaks at Bluffton
High school students are invited to compete for $6,000 in scholarships and prizes during the Bluffton University Business Competition on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
During the 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. event, students will interact with business majors and professors, explore future career paths in business and hear from Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber, who is serving as the keynote speaker. During the competition portion of the day, students will respond to a business case that will encourage them to think of the many aspects of contemporary business issues.
“We are very excited to invite high school students to participate in this Business Competition,” said Dr. Jason Swartzlander, professor of accounting. “During the Oct. 22 event, students will get real experience responding to key issues in the field while learning how becoming a business professional at Bluffton is done in a distinct, personal and supportive way.”
