Bluffton hosts social work Alumni Forum Oct. 29
A panel of Bluffton University social work alumni will share “In the Field: Helping Others Live Their Best Lives Through Social Work” during Bluffton University’s Alumni Forum at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Held in Yoder Recital Hall, the discussion will be moderated by Heidi Mercer, assistant professor of social work.
Taking part in the discussion will be: Shae Golden ’18, mental health counselor at Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio, Inc., Megan Gonyer ’10, instructor of teaching in social work and field coordinator at The University of Findlay, and Jake Stabler ’13, medication assisted treatment navigator at Bon Secours Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.
The panel will consider how social workers keep both clients and themselves healthy in the field.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
