Bluffton police apprehended two Michigan residents and booked them on numerous felony drug charges following an early Sunday morning incident in the area of the Fairway Inn.

Officers observed a black Dodge pickup truck that was occupied by two people and running. Officers ran the truck's license plate through LEADS and received notification that the registered owner had an active warrant out of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office. At this time, officers approached the vehicle and detained the driver and registered owner while awaiting confirmation on the warrant.
After the warrant on the driver was confirmed by Delaware County, officers requested canine assistance from K9 Kato to perform an exterior, open air sniff around the vehicle.
