Jefferson Street Phase II on track for 2020
Bluffton council passed several pieces of legislation on Monday as end-of-the-year requirements necessitated.
Among action included:
• Final resolution to move ahead with the Jefferson Street Improvement, Phase II
• Emergency resolution to proceed with a Johnny Appleseed Metro Park grant
• Approval of a resolution to submit an airport matching grant
• Passage of a temporary 2020 appropriations – Jan. 1 to March 30
The follow items came from committee reports:
• Insurance committee – recommended the village bring back an employee for light duty to avoid possible higher Workman Compensation premiums
• Blanchard River Watershed Partnership – review of its 2020-2022 strategic plan
Administrator’s report:
• A meeting with property owners affected by the State Route 103 pedestrian pathway is set for 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18, in the town hall.
