Geigers, Geslers, Owsleys, Askins residential light winners
A panel of Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce member judges have tallied scores including wow factor, lights variety, display variety, and sheer amount of lights to determine the four winners of the 2019 Bluffton Residential Lights Contest.
• First place and a prize of $200 "Bluffton Bucks" has been awarded for decorations at 169 Susan, the home of Patty and Robert Geiger.
• Second place and $150 goes to the display at 347 Sycamore, the home of Paul and Vicki Gesler.
• Third place and $75 goes to the 9860 N. Dixie home of Jesse Oswley.
• The mayor's prize, selected by Mayor Richard Johnson, goes to 189 Kibler, home of the Beth Askins family.
"Bluffton Bucks" are checks that can be spent at chamber member businesses.
"Thank you to the 19 families who entered our competition," said chamber CEO Paula Scott.
"For those who live here and for others who visit Bluffton, neighborhood decorations make the holidays brighter and more festive. We appreciate all the time, effort and creativity that has gone into these displays."
