PromoCares Program selects 3 new charities to support
PromoHits Ltd., of Bluffton announced selection of three local charities to support during the first six months of 2020 through its PromoCares inititive, according to Melinda Bowden, owner.
"We are committing to donating 5% of our total product sales next year to local charities," she said.
In November, Bowden invited customers to nominate local charities to benefit from the program during January to June 2020.
“This year, 2019, was the first year for the PromoCares program. Through the more than $28,000 we generated so far we’ve been able to help eight different organizations with their missions to help others,” she said.
“I’m pleased to continue the PromoCares program through donations to three charities we’ve chosen to receive the funds through the first half of 2020.”
Customers purchasing items from PromoHits may designate which charity they wish their purchases to support.
January to June charities Include:
• Friends of Putnam County Homecare and Hospice, benefitting the Hospice program – Ottawa
• Open Arms Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Service – Findlay
• Hunting with Hero’s – Lima
Persons interested in learning more may contact Bowden at 419-358-0700. Updates regarding funds raised through PromoCares will be posted to its Facebook page, facebook.com/promohitsltd.
