Tayton Kleman, Jeremy Sturgeon, Jackson Wilson hope to repeat NWC titles
The Northwest Conference wrestling tournament will be at Columbus Grove High School on Saturday, Feb.15, with both high school and junior high teams wrestling.
NWC teams include Ada, Allen East, Bluffton, Columbus Grove, Delphos Jefferson, Lincolnview, Paulding and Spencerville. Crestview will also compete in the JH tournament.
Allen East won the championship in 2019 with its 8th championship, followed by Bluffton and Columbus Grove.
Bluffton's individual champions returning include:
113 Tayton Kleman
120 Jeremy Sturgeon
182 Jackson Wilson
Both the tournaments will be a pool format, beginning at 10 a.m. This year 105 high school and 82 junior high wrestlers are entered. The entry grids are posted on BaumsPage. he final rounds should be at approximately 3 p.m.
Brackets and results will be posted on BaumsPage during the tournament. Full results will be posted at the conclusion of wrestling.
