Bluffton Farmer's Market 2020 plans already underway
New and returning vendors are invited to a meeting with Bluffton Farmers Market manager Greg Probst at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31.
The meeting will take place on the third floor of Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St. That evening, vendors will learn about promotional opportunities and may reserve full-year spaces at a discounted price.
Located in the Citizens National Bank parking lot in downtown Bluffton, the Bluffton Farmers Market is open on Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. - noon, May through October.
The 2020 season will begin Saturday, May 2, and end Saturday, Oct. 31. Fresh, high quality fruits, vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, bedding plants, potted plants, and other agricultural products may be sold. All home-produced products (jams, jellies, baked goods, etc.) must comply with State of Ohio cottage food operations rules.
Vendor fees for 2020 will be $12 per week. The discounted full-season price is $220 when paid by April 18. The annual fee secures your reserved spot for the year. Registration requirements include a description of products sold, proof of insurance and, if products require refrigeration, proof of mobile food vendor license.
The full 2020 Vendor Agreement is available at www.explorebluffton.com/farmers-market. Email inquiries can be sent to [email protected].
