Hey, elementary students, draw a picture of your teacher!
Bluffton PTO and the Icon will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week May 4 to 8.
To celebrate, the two organizations invite Bluffton elementary students to tell Icon viewers about your awesome teacher.
Here’s how:
• Create a drawing of your teacher
• Add a few words telling why your teacher is so awesome
• Have a parents or caregiver take a photo of your drawing and email it to:
[email protected]
• Subject line: My teacher
• Include your teacher’s name and your name
• Deadline for entries is 5 p.m., Saturday, May 2
A panel of judges will select one winner in the following grade divisions:
• Kindergarten, first and second grades
• Third, fourth and fifth grades
One student winner in each of the two grade categories will win a 1-item, 14-inch pizza and the winning student’s teacher will also receive a 1-item, 14-inch pizza from Padrone’s Pizza, Bluffton, compliments of the PTO and Icon.
• The winning entries are based on originality and creativity.
• Judges will not see the student’s name while judging.
• All entries will be posted on the Icon.
