Swiss Homestead events on hold in June
The Swiss Community Historical Society has put June events on hold including Saturday open houses at the Schumacher Homestead and the annual Swiss Day potluck and program.
Currently, society members and local history buffs are sharing photos and genealogy tips via facebook.com/SwissCommunityHistoricalSociety.
Recent posts include local mementos, family heirlooms, photographs, and maintenance work on the bank barn.
Docents and board members are preparing to share video tours and other new content. Visit the organization’s website (SwissHistorical.org), Youtube channel (Bluffton Pandora Swiss Historical), and Facebook page for updates.
