Mornings with Mommy begin next week
Mornings with Mommy is a fun and easy way for parents to enjoy activities with children (ages 0-6 years) and meet other caregivers.
Dads, grandmas, grandpas and nannies are welcome, too. The educational play-dates begin on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21 and 22, and will continue on the first and third Mondays with encore sessions on the following Tuesdays of each month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 N. Main St., Jenera.
Advance registration is required online at tlcjenera.org or by calling 419-326-4685. Space is limited so if a session is full, you have the option of being put on a waiting list.
The cost is $5 per family (not per child) per session. Payment may be by cash or check. Face coverings for adults will be required and social distancing will be observed.
There will be age appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and Kindergartners. Each session will have its own theme, but the basic structure will be consistent.
It will begin with circle time which includes a devotion, language and literacy activities (stories, flannel board and songs.) Families will be asked stay on their own rugs to maintain social distancing.
Then separate stations will be set up for each family with crafts, sensory bins, and educational toys and activities. Snacks will be distributed at 10:30 a.m.
