Saturday is Discovery Day downtown
A fall-themed Discovery Day with prize drawings and a business decorating contest will be hosted by Bluffton merchants on Saturday, Sept. 26.
It also hosts a Saturday morning Cars & Coffee gathering and farmers market.
Nearby, Suter’s Produce has opened their seasonal corn maze, hayride shuttle service to sunflower and pumpkin patches, and cider press shop.
“Bluffton isn’t hosting the annual fall fest this year, but there are fun opportunities in and near the village,” said Paula Scott, Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce CEO.
“Our participating merchants are making this a special day for residents and visitors.” All downtown Bluffton businesses are being invited to participate in a fall-themed decorating contest.
Twelve businesses are providing tickets for a prize drawing. They will give a drawing ticket to shoppers for every $10 spent.
Three tickets will be drawn for prizes of $100, $75, and $50 in “Bluffton Bucks,” gift certificates that can be spent at Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses.
The businesses are:
Bike Crazy LLC
The Black Lab Trading Company
Book ReViews
Boutique 415-Polished
Dough Hook Meat Market
Et Cetera Thrift Shop
The Food Store
Greenhorn restaurant
Roots by Strattons
Ten Thousand Villages
Town & Country Flowers
Twisted Whisk Cafe.
Individual business hours vary.
