Crestview stops Pirates 7-game win streak

CONVOY - The visiting Bluffton volleyball team lost in straight sets at Crestview in a Northwest Conference clash Tuesday night.
Bluffton fell to 9-3 overall and 2-1 in the NWC with the 25-23, 25-12, 25-22 loss that snapped a seven-match win streak.
Crestview improved to 7-4 and 3-0 in the NWC with the win to take over first place in the league standings.
Kylie Stackhouse led the Pirate girls with 18 kills and 13 digs. Taylor Schwab contributed 10 kills.
Haelynn Bischoff also knocked down four kills, made one block and added six digs.
Setter Skyler Scoles dished out 30 assists, made six digs and served up two aces. Kylie Monday led the team with 18 digs, while Sophie Bricker came up with six digs. Cora Bischoff added one block.
The Pirate junior varsity also lost, 2-0.
Bluffton is now 5-2 on the road this season.
Bluffton (4-1 home) hosts tough league foe Paulding (8-2, 1-1 NWC) Thursday night.
