BLUFFTON - The Ada and Bluffton golf squads played a makeup four-team Northwest Conference match Tuesday at the Bluffton Golf Course to finish the regular season.
Bluffton won with 166 strokes, followed by Lincolnview (178), Delphos Jefferson (185) and Ada (219).
Kenny Lovett of the Pirates was match medalist with a score of 36. Micah Minnig shot 40, and teammate Jaden Coonfare was close behind him with a 41. Jacob Boisvert rounded out the Bluffton scorers with a 49.
Wes Brauen and Eli Wenger both carded a round of 59 for the Pirates.
Senior Jacob Morgan led Ada with a nine-hole tally of 53. Juniors Dexter Woods and Andrew Rush each posted rounds of 55. Junior Kamron Wilkerson was the fourth Bulldog scorer with a 56.
Sophomore Geddes Klingler registered a 64 and freshman Jack Baumgartner added a 66 to round out the Ada efforts.
The Bulldogs are 3-29 and 0-14 during play in the eight-team league. Allen East is atop the NWC at 14-0, followed by Lincolnview (11-3) and Bluffton (10-4). DJ is 4-10 in the NWC.
All eight teams play at Colonial Hills in the NWC championship tournament hosted by AE Thursday, September 24.
