"Lovin' on Lane" fundraiser
A “Lovin’ on Lane” fundraiser is underway this fall in support of a Bluffton fifth grader diagnosed with leukemia.
Lane Rossman, son of Tony and Jayme Schumacher and Lynn Rossman, was diagnosed in September. A group of friends are leading this fundraiser. They are also planning a benefit in December and more details will follow.
Lane’s other siblings are Whitney Boone, Haley Tuttle, Dilyn Rossman, Lydia Schumacher and Jackson Schumacher. Lane’s teachers at Bluffton are Jared Byers and Jeff Richards.
Friends hosting the fundraiser told the Icon that they are selling window decals and wristbands with wording “Lovin’ On Lane” on one side and “Lane Strong” on the other side.
Orange silicone wristbands are available in three sizes. Also available are orange leukemia awareness ribbons. The flyer attached to this story provides prices and suggested donations.
