Drive-up, drop-off food drive Saturday
Riley Creek United Methodist Church, 7102 Road M, Ottawa, will conduct a drive-up, drop-off food drive on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Drivers will not need to leave their vehicles. Volunteers will collect the items and put them on a truck for delivery to the food pantries.
The greatest need is for the following non-perishable items: canned meat, mac and cheese, noodles, spaghetti and sauce, tuna, crackers, peanut butter, canned vegetables (corn, peas, carrots), canned fruit, tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, hygiene supplies, laundry soap, dish soap, shampoo.
Cash will also be accepted. Food and dry goods donations will be forwarded to the Putnam County Community Thrift Store/Food Pantry.
Cash donations will be forwarded to the Leipsic Community Center.
Riley Creek United Methodist Church is located southeast of Ottawa and northwest of Pandora at the intersection of Putnam County Roads M and 7-L (7102 County Road M, Ottawa, OH 45875), across from Ottawa National Lime & Stone Company. Weekly Sunday morning worship is at 11 a.m. Marcella Ciccotelli is pastor.
