Peggy Ann Bowyer 1932 - 2021
Peggy Ann Bowyer, 88, died Jan. 2, 2021, of natural causes.
The youngest of six siblings, she was born in Bluffton, Ohio, on March 7, 1932, to the late Dorothy and Charles Young.
Following graduation from Bluffton High School in 1950, she married Kenneth Bowyer on June 24, 1950, and they were married 56 years prior to his death.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven, and her great grandson Skyler. Survivors include a sister, Joyce; children, Michael (Rita), Deborah, Barbara, Karen, Diane Swan (Mike), Terri Hampshire (Mike), Douglas (Lauri) and Lisa; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She collected salt and pepper shakers and had over 4,000 pairs.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local hospice in her memory.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
