Rick's family provided the following personal information:
Rick spent his life devoted to his family. He lived at home with his parents, caring for them until their passing. Rick never got over losing his mother, who was his best friend.
He never married but had nieces and nephews that he loved as if they were his own. Rick was their constant, always there for each of them.
He was proud of his home and loved having visitors. Rick had the natural ability to decorate any home he lived in and make it look like a show place. His fireplace mantle at Christmas belonged in a magazine.
Rick was a dog lover, but didn’t get his first dog, Hazel, until he was in his 60s. After she passed, he adopted his current dog, Homer. Homer was Rick’s biggest fan and was by his side day and night. Homer couldn’t live without him, so is now at Rick’s side in Heaven.
